Effective 20 September 2026
Terms of service
These terms govern use of the MediaVault website, application and API, provided by PLACEHOLDER — registered company name(“we”). By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or using the API you agree to them. If you are acting for a club or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and “you” means that organisation.
Draft: company details in this document are placeholders and must be completed before publication.
01The service
MediaVault stores match media for sports organisations, identifies the registered players and sponsors in it, and distributes it to athletes, partners and galleries. It includes a web application, a REST API, website embeds, an MCP server for AI assistants, and optional add-ons such as the creative studio. We may improve or change features over time; we will not materially reduce the core service during a paid term without notice.
02Accounts and roles
- The person who creates a club is its owner and is responsible for who is invited and what roles they hold. Owners and admins can see and change everything in the club.
- Keep sign-in details and API keys confidential. Anything done with your credentials is treated as done by you. Tell us at once if you believe a key or password is compromised; keys can be revoked instantly from Settings.
- You must be at least 14 to hold an account. Athletes under 14 are represented in the product by the club, not by their own account.
03Your content and your responsibilities
You keep all rights to the media, rosters and other material you upload. You grant us a licence to host, process, analyse, transform (for example into renditions and social crops) and deliver it, solely to provide the service to you and the people you share it with.
You are responsible for the content and for having the rights and permissions it needs. In particular you confirm that:
- You hold, or have the photographer's licence to, every image and video you upload.
- Before registering a person for face matching, you have obtained their explicit consent to biometric processing, or a parent or guardian's consent where the person is a minor, and you have told them how to dismiss a match and how to withdraw. We may ask for evidence of this.
- You will not upload unlawful, infringing or abusive material, or use the service to identify people who are not registered members of your organisation.
We may remove content or suspend an account that we reasonably believe breaches these terms or the law, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
04Automated recognition and AI output
- Face matching, shirt-number reading, sponsor detection, captions and tags are produced by automated systems. They are deliberately tuned to miss as little as possible, which means some matches will be wrong. Every match can be corrected or dismissed, and you should review results before relying on them for anything consequential.
- The creative studio produces drafts using third-party AI models from your own photos. Drafts may contain errors in names, scores, text or likeness. Nothing is published automatically; you review and publish. You are responsible for any use of a draft, including rights in the underlying photos.
- Requests you send to an AI assistant through the MCP server are limited by the API key's scopes. An assistant can read and draft; it cannot publish.
05API, embeds and share links
- The API is available to clubs with the relevant add-on. Keys are personal to the club, may not be shared with third parties except as needed to run your own integrations, and may be rate-limited.
- Public share links and embeds make a gallery visible to anyone with the link. You control passwords, expiry and revocation; you are responsible for where you post a link.
- Do not probe, overload or attempt to bypass access controls. We may suspend access that threatens the service or other clubs.
06Fees
Paid plans and add-ons are billed as set out at the time of purchase. Usage-based add-ons are metered and shown in the Usage page. Fees are exclusive of VAT. If a payment fails we will notify you and may suspend paid features after 14 days until it is resolved.
07Data protection
For personal data you upload, you are the controller and we are your processor. The data processing agreement forms part of these terms. Our own processing of your account is described in the privacy policy.
08Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may carry out maintenance, with notice where practicable. Support is by email at hello@mvt.sh during Spanish business hours.
09Term and termination
- You can close your club's account at any time from Settings or by writing to us. Paid periods already started are not refunded unless the law requires it.
- We can terminate for a material breach that is not cured within 14 days of notice, or immediately for unlawful use or a serious security risk.
- After closure you have 30 days to export your media through the app or API. We then delete the club's data, including face templates, as described in the privacy policy.
10Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.
Otherwise, our total liability to you for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or lost data that you could have backed up. The service is provided as described; we make no other warranties.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes go to the courts of the city of our registered office, unless you are a consumer entitled to bring a claim where you live. Consumers in the EU may also use the European online dispute resolution platform.
12Changes
We may update these terms. For material changes we give at least 30 days' notice by email to account owners. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance; if you do not agree, close the account before then.
